A soft suede-look upper with the moccasin stitch running round the toe, and a fleece collar deep enough to stand above the ankle instead of disappearing into the shoe.
They pull on without a lace or a zip. The sole is a thick cushioned rubber that keeps your feet off a cold pavement, so these work indoors and for the school run rather than only in the house.
Fit
Take your usual size. The opening is elasticated at the sides, so a wider foot still gets in, but the fleece makes them snug at first. Between two sizes, go up.
