A hard outer shell with a shock-absorbing inner layer underneath. There are vents on top and padded ear pads at the sides, which you can take out.
Pick by your head measurement: measure around your head, just above the eyebrows and ears. The dial at the back then tightens or loosens the fit. If you are on the border of two sizes, take the larger one.
