These come up to mid-calf, which is the difference between snow staying out and snow going in. The cuff is faux fur and folds over; underneath, the lining runs the whole way down the shaft.
The sole is a deep lug rubber, the kind that bites into packed snow rather than sliding over it. Laces run the full height so you can pull the shaft in around a narrow calf.
Fit
Take your usual size; the lining is generous, so there is room for a thick wool sock without going up. If you have a wide calf, the top two eyelets can be left unlaced.
